It's been released for a few months. I just got a real one on hand. Generally it's same with previous version. But when operating, the eyes appear. It reminds me the theme song of the famous game Final Fantasy VIII: Eyes On Me. This time maybe we can say Eyes On Mplayer. Really cute.

I just know how the icons in Mac OS work. 1st, The resolution is higher than Windows, as high as 512x512; 2nd, there are several different size of images in the icon file (format: .icns). That's why the icons look so nice, even when zooming. I just tried to make one by myself. I drew iriver E10 with Fireworks and converted it to icon for Mac OS use. I saw my father had a Sanyo portable cassette player, looks like the ones above but a little different. I wanted it but I was too young to have it. I could not control my curiosity and played with it when father was not noticing. I even pushed the 3 button down together, which was very harmful to the player. It was luxury at that time. But no updates since then. My family was using the product for many many years (So does the TV, desktop cassette recorder/player, washing machine and so on).

After a few years, classmates around me were using slimmer, cooler cassette players. Some of them were original Walkman made by Sony. I envied much. When I went to high school, one of my friend got a cooler player then cassette Walkman -- A Sony CD Walkman. It even had a remote control! I borrowed from him for a few days. Before that I can only play CD with PC's CD-ROM. I liked it so much and dreamed of having one.

Yes, since 2002, I got my first portable music player, it's been a long story. I would start from beginning, write them down to memorize the first career, under the category "Memory of iriver".

I don't remember when is the last time I reply customers' inquiries. I have the excuse that I had a lot of other work to do, or I was not appointed to this work. But in another hand, I should at least keep an eye on this. Knowing little about the customers make me blind. That's not the correct attitude to run a business. I'd regret for that.

From the customers feedback, a lot of interesting views can be discovered too. For example someone sent a mail said the recording function is confined. Combining the resources of listening material could extend the market. He even wrote several advertisement for his plan. I think he may have a point. Think in this way, recording is also UCC, and so far, it seems that no company apply it to portable devices. As everybody can see, the Youtube like website is everywhere now. iPod Touch can play the video online. But it needs wireless connection. I think a lot of people would like to store the content in there devices. Podcast is one way of it. I'm kind of like using it now. However, only online radio is not enough. A downloadable version could meet many people's needs. Tudou is already doing this. There's no cooperation mode yet. There should be some since there's connection between the UCC provider and portable player. Could take a try.
