Remember Lara right? This is the third time she shows up here. Yes, she came with "Anniversary" this time. I do remember the first time I play the game Tomb Raider in 1997. To be honest, I was not so interested in the game at that time. I was fainting when travelling in the 3D world and did not know where to go. Every scene looked the same. It was in year 2000, when I saw the Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, I feel in love with her. The world and Lara was so real, the advanture began. This June 1st, Lara returned to the very beginning, the world in 1997. Anniversary is a remade version. Now I can go back to the world which made me faint and it must be a fresh new trip.

Lara Croft herself is a legend. No matter whether she was real person in history or not. She has created the histroy. So many PC/TV gamers get crazy for her. I wrote one piece of blog on May 18th, last year. I was waiting for the game. And now it comes out. I just finished it last night. It's fantabulous. Even my video card bought 2 years ago gave me a wonderful vision. It's very pity that I can not turn on the special effort called "Next Generation Content". It is said that much more beautiful vision it could made after using it. Someday I'll buy a XBOX360 for it I think.

From the Tomb Raider I to VII, Lara becomes more and more vivid. I though I might not like the new figure of her in the snapshot last year. 'coz a new studio had taken charge of the project. They might change the details of design. But now when I start to play, I happily find that I was wrong.

I created this signature on Sat Jun 17 01:10:54 2000. A classic game I played in 1996. I've played it for times. It's definitely a milestone of Chinese PC game.

Lara Croft Returns!....?

EIDOS revealed the new adventure of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Legend . This is one of my favorite games although I just played Tomb Raider V through. I knew the game from the Tomb Raider I . But I started getting interested on it from Tomb Raider IV. Thanks to the powerful PC system, the looking and moving of Lara became more cooler. The environment in the game was far more beautiful then before. More puzzles, and they were interesting too. Since then, I began running after the game. I must admit that I'm not a superfan. I play less, but I want to know more about the news of Tomb Raider. I dont have too much time to play, I did not finish TR IV .The TR V was not that difficult. Then the TR VI disappointed me for the controlling is "improved", "getting close to the real world". I could not get used to it. And I could not feel the myth aura in it too. Now here comes the TR VII, which is said to return to tombs. The original studio of TR series has gone. The new team called Crystal Dynamics reshaped Lara's look. I don't like the new face much infact. But anyway, the new TR is expectant.

Joystick The Pal

It was bought in the summer of 1997 or 1998 by me and the other 3 of my friends - B,Z and C. I can't remember the exact time. We were having fun of a game called Fury 3D, a flight & shooting game. After playing the game with a joystick I borrowed from my neighbor, we decided to buy one. We didn't have enough money though. We put our money together and there were 100 total. It was merely enough for a non-brand joystick with simple function. After trying that one, we found it hard to use. I couldn't endure while the others felt ok with that. I was so obstinate that I paid extra RMB98 to buy the one in the photo. I saved the money by not buying breakfast for near 3 months. It felt good when using this joystick. But after that, there was little game which could drive us that crazy. So the joystick was kept in the box and had not been used for a very long time, 6 or 7 years.
