iPad, new hottest keyword in coming days
Thursday, January 28th, 2010
There's no doubt that this new stuff will make it the hottest keyword in the coming days - iPad. Hey good name is't it? While just changing a character of iPod, there's no better one.
No need to say too much about what it can do now - as so many rumors have been proven - this not-too-little gadget costs $499 for 16GB, WiFi, 9.7inch touch IPS screen, $599 for 32GB and $799 for 64GB. Use 3G to browse internet? $130 more for each model makes it true.
Ok. That's all for the show. Surprised and excited? Nah~~ that's ok. For me, it's cool enough, but I like my MacBook more.
Plus, it must be the hottest stuff in Starbucks in the near future too.
You must know where to find it.
Update: Maybe I have to take my words back? It beats the photo frame, the game console, the book, and ... I'd say, who don't want one?
More than feeling good
Saturday, September 5th, 2009Chinese saying, "Better work needs better tools". That's a good excuse for me to upgrade my equipment. Including the MacBook, the brand new DELL U2410f, and the DXRACER LCD/laptop stand. All above are installed on my desk in office.Colleagues thought I'm crazy: A geek who use his own equipments to work for company, and the equipments cost nearly 20,000RMB. I'm thinking in another way, the powerful computer and large LCD make me work more efficiently. And they make me feel happy when working. Compare with that, money is nothing. Like my blog title said, laughing means more to me.
The LCD stand arrived today. I had to go to the logistic center in downtown to pick it up by myself. It needed 10 minutes riding to get there. The toughest part was carrying it back. Without a shelf on my bike, the 8KG box left a strip of bloodstain on my shoulder.
Welcome, Dell U2410!

6 years later, I finally got my new large screen LCD. Costs less, but much lager (17" vs 24").
Dell U2410, what I like most, is the OSD design. 5 buttons with touch sensor and blue LED, when moving fingers over it, the LED turns on automatically. Touch it slightly, the other 4 button LED turn on and the menu appears just next to them. With so detailed settings, U2410 meets all my needs.
I've been thinking of buying a new LCD from last Oct. When doing the coding and designing work, the old pal Maya 17" was not large enough to show so many windows I opened. And it was too dark to watch movies. After all, it's been worked for me for 6 years. 2408WFP was my target at that time. Just one thing: it exceeded my budget. Then I waited and waited. So many times, I would like to step back and get the 22" model, with was so hot and popular too, 2209WA. What a coincidence, 2 days before I making the decision, Hei told me a new model released. This is it. Another dream comes true story.

Monday, November 24th, 2008Say hi to New MacBook
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008New toy called MacBook
Sunday, October 5th, 2008Yes, it's comfortable, easy to use. When touching the keyboard, it feels so good! Comes with OS X Leopard and fully support of Windows, MacBook is definitely the very notebook for me. No wonder why P is strongly recommending it. VMware Fusion makes it so easy to access Windows in OS X, Boot Camp can help to install a stand alone Windows in a separated partition. In fact, after using OS X, I think Windows can be just a tool, a tool for working, OS X is the one that fits in the life. But in the same time, I like my powerful ThinkPad too. I can not give up any of them. It's really a hard decision to make.

Have not got full information about it so far. It looks nice, stylish. It has vivid AMOLED screen, 480x272 resolution, which will be perfect for watching video. It also supports Flash Lite 2.1, text, Bluetooth... Not just looks good, it's powerful from inside. A worth-waiting portable media player.
